Richard Santiago is a writer, filmmaker, and podcaster born and raised in San Juan, Puerto Rico. He graduated from Universidad del Sagrado Corazón with a B.A. in Communications and a minor degree in Theater Directing. In the Theater program, he was mentored by actor Rocky Venegas and Production Designer José Llompart.
In California, Richard acquired his Master’s Degree in film production at the USC School of Cinematic Arts where he wrote directed, and produced several shorts films. His short film Fragments entered into several film festivals, including the First Glance Film Festival where it won Best Editing. It was also nominated for a Verna Fields Award.
Currently, Richard is the creator and host of Media Revue Pod, a Spanish/English podcast where he has discussions, opinions, and interviews with professionals in the entertainment industry.
He currently resides in Orlando, Florida with his wife, their two boys, and Ash (Asher) Eugenio, their dog.
